Well, while some of the family are being totally intrepid travellers and planning their next stop in Turkestan Brent and I headed off to the Wairarapa for the weekend.
We arrived at Solway Park and got seetled in then headed of to play golf at the Masterton Golf course, playing Ambrose in teams of 3. You take the best shot of the team and everyone plays from that spot, then you take the best shot again and everyone plays from there - so it makes for a fast game!
Then it was everyone back toSolway Park, have a pre-dinner drink or two and head off to a lovely Wairarapa restaurant for a meal.
The "Winners" of the ambrose competition just had to get in front of the camera.... Brent, Lisa and Wayne. Congratulations are in order even if you did ONLY JUST WIN!!!
Sunday will be brunch and a walk around Martinborough then back home to good old Wellington. And then we'll be nearly into spring!
